Looks like the CBGB saga is finally over. The club plans to close it's doors on Halloween of next year - though owner Hilly Kristal is looking into some new spaces on the LES to reopen.

Here's an interesting one from the Washington Post on indie bands selling their music to be used on tv shows, commercials, etc.

Also for anyone that cares the Grammy nominations came out today - but seriously does anyone really get excited for about this??? Here's the list of nominees - you know there is problem when Mariah Carey gets the most nods.
