The initial line-up for the 6th Annual Jammy awards has been announced. Read the press release here and the initial line-up here. Some interesting acts on the bill already, but I think The Secret Machines are primed to blow some minds that night. I've been to the Jammys a couple of times - it's a fun time and a loooooooong night of music. The collaborations are sometimes hit or miss, but when they hit they are quite good.

Definitely worth the download for the Ryan Adams/Phil Lesh performance.
The Jammys will be kicking off the first Green Apple Music & Arts Festival - something that I've been hearing about for awhile, but that nothing has actually been announced about.

The lineup is a bit underwhelming, but I'm psyched as hell and WILL be there.
Secret Machines are nowhere to be found on that list...
I saw that they were on and it looks like nobody has them listed anymore. ???
Weird. They were listed yesterday when Jambands.com first put the post up and now it looks like they have removed their name.
I'm calling it a rumor. Word.
