Things are coming together quickly for the recently rumored, confirmed and now announced multi-day music festival that is set to take place at Liberty State Park. While the name Coachella East kicked to the curb pretty early, the fest now has an official name (and website) of it's very own - let's all welcome the All Points West Music & Arts Festival to our vernacular.
The fest is set to take place the very same weekend as the proposed Vineland Music & Arts Festival - August 8th - 10th. Common sense says that both of these fests will be competing for the same artists, so expect to see some overlap as the line ups come together.

I wasn't too impressed with the Coachella lineup. I am thinking I'm probably going to go to the All Points West Music & Arts Festival, or Vineland, or even Lollapalooza, but I need something to complement my ACL weekend! I will be on here in order for me to know where to go! That is for sure!
I highly suggest Bonnaroo if you haven't been yet. August in NYC is very hit or miss - could be about 95 plus humidity and thunderstorm every day.
I went to Bonnaroo last year - over 100 every day, and no rain, and from a friend of mine who's been a few times, this seems the norm. Then again, you can camp at Bonnaroo, and I don't believe there will be camping at All Points West. Bonnaroo's lineup this year is pretty potent (Pearl Jam, Metallica, Kanye West) - while Coachella's this year doesn't hold a candle to last year. Should be interesting to see what All Points West brings...
