It's currently 76 degrees outside in late October, so kind of hard to look towards December and more specifically to Hanukkah - but there a number of great shows going on to celebrate the Festival Of Lights that you don't want to get shut out on. Here's what's going on....
Yo La Tengo will return to Maxwell's (after taking last year off) for an eight night stand at their hometown haunt from December 4th - 11th. Tickets for all shows go on-sale this Wednesday at noon via TicketWeb, no openers have been announced yet. More info here.
Next up Matisyahu offers up his second annual Festival Of Light Celebration, happening December 4th and 5th at Roseland Ballroom - Blues Traveler and The Wailers will open respectively. Tickets are on-sale now.
And finally from the folks at J-Dub Records and Taglit have teamed up for the multi-city concert event called The 8 - with events is New York, L.A., Boston, Seattle and Washington D.C. (and several internationl cities) - featuring the likes of The LeeVees, Apollo Sunshine, Hadag Nachash, and many more - on December 8th. Tickets go on-sale on October 26th, for more info head here.
