Eight in a row, nine in ten years it doesn't get old hat to keep winning the American League East - and it feels even better to do it in Boston. Yes the Yanks had a bit of help today from the Cleveland Indians who lost and coupled with the Yanks win guaranteed them the title, but I'll take it. I'd rather know we have the AL East today then sweat it out tomorrow. We might have also benefited from good 'ol Mother Nature as well when earlier in the week the Sox had to play a double header which pushed back Curt Schilling's start to Sunday - but hey won't complain about that either. I won't get into a lengthy dissertation about the season. Let's just say those of us who have been following this team closely all year feel a great sense of satisfaction today. Let's get one more tomorrow and hope Cleveland can do us another favor by winning tomorrow which would result in a one game playoff on Monday versus Boston.
