50 Greatest New York Musicians

If you frequent this ol' blog you know that I'm a big fan of music lists. So yesterday when I opened my mailbox and saw the new issue of Time Out New York with a cover story about the 50 Greatest New York Musicians I was pretty excited to dig in to see their choices.

All in all a great list covering everything from rock and pop to jazz and Broadway - check it out for yourself and see if you agree. I probably would have included The Strokes and MMW on this, thoughts? They've also included a YouTube tour of New York music and the 50 Greatest New York Song (from their artist choices).
