Anyone else out there catch the indie-rock all-star band M. Ward recruited for his performance of "Chinese Translation" on Conan last night? Matt was joined by none other than Jim James (who now has a buzz cut) and Neko Case - this could be my dream band. Hopefully some video will surface today - I watched it twice this morning before heading off to work and it was simply fantastic.
In the meantime you can just watch the video instead....

Yep, I saw it and it was great. I miss Jim's hair, though...
It's been getting shorter and shorter over the last few years. I remember the first time I saw MMJ I didn't see Jim's face for the entire show - he sung through his hair and looked like Cousin It from the Adams Family with the way it hung over his face.
